Cummings Elementary School

 This is Cumings Elementary School in the North Salem.

The school has an after school program.

A few students wait for their parents after school.

During the time, children can play with their friends.

Sometimes, Willamette University Students go to there to do presentation for children.

Everyone can enjoy this during free time.

 There was a lot of play equipment in the gym.

RAM

There is a restaurant near by Willamette University.

 The restaurant is named The RAM.

There are many menus and people.

RAM is very popular by Willamette University students.

 Because they will be 50％ off from the price on Sunday after 9:00p.m.

Capital Of Oregon

 

This is a famous building in Salem.Everyone calls this building the State Capitol.

He is a gold pioneer.

Everyone can look it backward from Willamette University.

There are flags from many countries in front of the building.

Lu'au

There was a Lu'au yesterday. Lu'au is a Hawaiian event.

The decorations were Hawaiian and full of natural items

There were many Hawaiian foods there!

And women showed the audience Hawaiian dance.

The traditional dancing was good!

A Lu'au was such a good event for everyone.

PowWow

There was a PowWow  on March 12. A PowWow is a Native American festival.  Native Americans showed their traditional dance. The dance was so different from Japanese dances. They haven’t an expression and they were dancing with fixed music. Their clothes were so novel. Also they didn't show any facial expressions. So everyone said they are so scary. The PowWow is a good event.  The PowWow has many things that Japanese can learn about it. Because there’re not such as PowWow event. People can’t learn about Native Americans in Japan.  And there are many traditional shops. They were many interesting things. 

For example, For example, look at this instrument. This is looks like a bug.  But this is instrument like a maracas. 

And this picture is a dreamcatcher. This makes it possible to have good dreams.  The PowWow was such a good experience.
